Do Men Really Listen? Do We Even Care?

How many times have you heard...

• Did you hear what I said?
• Are you even listening to me?
• “Earth to Bazz” you didn't hear a word I said?

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our own very personal world that we don’t hear or see anything outside of ourselves. Not to mention, whatever is shared, doesn’t hold our attention.

This frame of mind can apply to anyone we encounter (e.g. our spouse, children, friends, job, or just people in general). 

So why is that?

• Could it be that we don’t need to know every little detail of what’s being shared?
• Or do we just respond differently from certain cues that we are programmed to pay attention to?
• Lastly, do we even care?
